PACT Construction awarded Roy Hill HQ project

We are excited to announce that PACT Construction has been appointed as construction partner for Roy Hill’s new headquarters in West Perth. The project involves the partial demolition of an existing building and the construction of an additional structure, new façade and premium grade office fit out. The 20,000m² building will also host Roy Hill’s new Remote Operating Facilities (ROC).

“We are thrilled to be part of this exciting project in collaboration with HanRoy and look forward to driving the successful delivery of Roy Hill’s new headquarters,” said PACT General Manager Jason Thomson, speaking to our excitement to get to work on the iconic development.

Designed by COX, an intelligent kinetic façade will be a key feature of the development, the bold and innovative design pushing the envelope and creating a striking profile on all elevations. The reimagined exterior will significantly enhance both the internal workplace environment and the external appearance of Roy Hill’s headquarters.

PACT Construction was selected due to their extensive experience, collaborative methods and ABN Group’s solid backing. Part of their demonstrated experience was the development of our very own headquarters at Leederville, which shares many similarities with Roy Hill’s new headquarters. PACT has partnered with HanRoy under a collaborative delivery model to drive the best overall outcomes for this project.

“With our growing portfolio of projects, it will be great to have our various teams all located in West Perth as we continue to expand our company,” said  Hancock Prospecting Projects CEO Sanjiv Manchanda.

Preliminary works commenced on site December 2023, with partial demolition and construction activity starting in early 2024.
